"I WANT TO SEE!"

MARK 10:32-52

1. In I Timothy 2:5-6 Paul tells us that Jesus "gave Himself a ransom for all" and then in Mark 10:45 it says that Jesus gave "His life a ransom for many." Why the difference?

Jesus gave His life for all, He died for the sins of the world, the problem is that all will not receive that free gift. But for those that do, the "many" they will enter into life with Him.

2. What point is Paul making in II Corinthians 5:21?

Jesus was the perfect sacrifice, there was no sin in Him, but He became sin for us, paying the penalty for our sins, so we may live. Thus, we stand not in our own righteousness, but in the righteousness of God that has been given to us by Christ.

3. What is the point of Jesus coming, according to I Peter 3:18?

He came that He may restore our fellowship with God. He made us clean, as white as snow, making us spiritually alive!

4. In Matthew 5:10, what point is Jesus making?

This is not a persecution for being obnoxious, but for standing up for the things of God. When you stand up for the things of God, people will come against you, it comes with being a follower of Jesus.
